hi all, I have been asked to take part in a trial for new medication with Pantharaclinic by my doctors. I was told this could stop my af permanently. I have a fast heart rate of around 200 to 240.

I am going to take part in it, will let you know how it goes.

Byke, well done and thank you from all fellow sufferers for taking this on.

Of course, it is likely you won't know whether you are taking the actual drug or just a placebo during the trial!

Good Luck

Just today I was sent a link to current research on Etripamil nasal spray for paroxysmal SVT. Sounds like good news to me, so far at least ...

I was in the study for Tikosyn (Dofetilide) back in 1995 and one thing is that some will get the actual medicine and others a placebo. Fortunately I was one of the lucky ones to receive the actual medicine and it worked very well in controlling my afib for close to 20 years. I hope you will get the actual medicine and that it works as well as Dofetilide did for me. If it works please let me know as I want to get off of amiodarone desperately. Best Wish's.

Hi

With me no BBs worked to bring down 186 hbm DAY on Metoprolol until the new private H/Specialist put me on Diltiazem. 180mg too much I dropped 105 hbm within 2 hours on Bisoprolol. And I was changed to Bisoprolol 10mg at the time.

Just 2.5mg Bisoprolol PM controlled my hypertension.

Just 120mg AM Diltiazem controlled my heart rate.

Now 110-130 BP Day and 60s H/R Day. Night always drop to 47hbm regardless of meds. I have always been prone to cold shoulders at night.

So I am happy.

Have you tried this combo. You need to separate CCB from BB. The CCB works for 12 hours so does not interfere with Night rate. All interesting. After 1 year it dropped from 88-96 H/R Day to 60s! Not sure whether it was the 3kg weight loss.
