In the dark: Hi all those with AF I... - Atrial Fibrillati...

Sounds like you are still in AF but your beta blockers are doing their job. What follow up is planned.?
What are you asking exactly? That if BP is OK you shouldn't be in AF? If so, that's not the case necessarily. You've been given the first line of approach- beta blockers and anticoagulants. BBs slow the HR and can also lower the BP. But, your watch says you're still in AF. All the time? If so, make sure you've got a record of that to show your cardiologist or EP. It might be that the dizziness is happening because of the Betablockers, or it might be that your heart needs a different medication to help it stay in rhythm. Either way it's not good for you to be left with no information.
Why not call the AF clinic organiser and ask about the timeline for the appointment.
I'd also talk to my GP if I were you - explain the dizziness etc and ask if they can put pressure on the hospital re the appointment.
You need to call the Af cliinic and ascertain that your referral has been received, and explain to them that you are dizzy all the time. It could be that the dosage or your medications may need adjusting.
