Which high blood pressure med is good for high blood pressure with left bundle branch block, left atrial enlargement, a-fib just few times.

I was taking Diltiazem 60 mg 12HR ER Cap 2 times a day, but told to stop while taking Paxlovid for Covid. I had no bad side effect from stopping it and lost the weight I had gained from taking Diltiazem. I read that that medication may not be good for left bundle branch block and that is why I'm asking if anyone with the same symptoms had a better drug to take. My blood pressure is normal now, but would like a new med in case it gets higher. I haven't been getting A-fib as I only had it about 2 times in one year in the past. My cardiologist will most likely give me a new drug if I ask and he agrees that it's a good fit.
