i’ve been hearing a lot of good things about a new ablation technique called pulsed field ablation.
it’s not available in the US now, and I may not be able to wait until it is. Does anyone know which countries it is available in? Some sources say “Europe“ but don’t list the countries. is it available in Canada by any chance? That would be the cheapest travel expenses for me.

Might still be some trial opportunities in the US. I'll send you a private message later. Out of trial in US 1-2 years. Avail in UK now at a few centers. As a private (paid) patient not long a wait. Check out Royal Papsford. Don't know about Canada.
TouchVeena - Papworth is an NHS hospital so always worth asking but I doubt they will take private patients until the study results are in. Follow the links on the page to see more information on the technology and the doctors.
My understanding is that trials for new biotechnology are tested in Europe first, primarily because of US regulations on new trials, that is why it is available in Europe, then UK before US. There are disadvantages to being in a trial and being first, as anyone who has suffered very real harm from surgical mesh, especially women, will testify.
I corresponded with them 4-5 months ago.. They said it was out of trial then and I was quoted 12-15 thousand pounds as a US private patient. The wait was relatively short if I remember.
When I spoke to them, each of the three investigators has done about 20 each. I'm sure it's more than double by now.
I decided to pass because it is only done under general anesthesia (GA) with cost and logistics also a factor. I ended up doing Cryo six weeks ago under MAC (monitored sedation, not GA) fully paid by Medicare. Wait was 3-4 months which is on long side here.
TouchVeena have you discussed the PFA with your doctors and other treatments as well ?
Not discounting the remarkable advances in the PFA, but best to get a medical assesment peculiar to your individual situation. The minimaze procedure has been successful for those that have elected.
Consider giving us a brief history of your afib journey and others can relate their experience for your consideration.
