Please don't wait till the eleventh. Phone 111 now. Those tiny blood spots are sometimes a sign of something more serious.

Do you mean by blood spots red pimple like swellings? Loads of those have suddenly erupted over my torso.

No I meant the flat ones that Corrie describes. I am not a doctor,, just speaking from my own experience.

My legs are all blue swellings with riveroxaban and around and above my right ankle is a wide heavy blue swollen band.

Have you spoken to your doctor about it?

They just say carry on with it, it's better than a stroke.

So you spoken to them about it? I'll still ask as medication can be changed I already had blood clot in that leg.

I found changing to Apixaban helped with joint pain.

It is well known that anti coagulants cause these petechiae. Diseases such as meningitis are also responsible, but I would think you would have more symptoms!!!! I have been getting them and other purpura for years, granted, I am much older than you and senile purpura is also common. Your doctor will tell you the cause. My Cardiologist warned me because of my age and thin skin.

Not what you're looking for?
