Post Cryoablation 2 weeks

I am getting discouraged about chances that my procedure was a success. I have had 5 different episodes of AFIB in the last 2 weeks. 3 only lasting a couple of hours, but I feel like I am on an AFIB rollercoaster.

I will see my EP on May 7.

I would like feedback from the group.

Thank you

It can take three to six months for things to settle down so don't be too upset. Try reading our fact sheet on recovery .

Much too early to come to any conclusions. Your heart needs to calm down from the procedure. How long did your previous afib episodes last?

In the same boat. Had my 5th ablation March 31st. Great for 2 weeks and then back into tachycardia with bouts of atypical afib tossed in. Scheduled for a cardioversion May 12. Meanwhile on metoprolol and diltiazem (and anticoagulated of course). Completely idiopathic and hopefully just a blip during the blanking period. Fortunately very few symptoms other than feeling like I’m moving in treacle.Hang in there. Schedule a cardioversion if needed. It’s a strange beast.
