I sorted my own problem in the end π
I am now starting to receive my posts again as I originally did in the original format. Super Duper ! Before I ventured into the world of reporting issues to the technical team I gave it one last shot, based on a number of comments many of you made.
I went into my account settings and where ever I found a tick in a box I deleted all the ticks so that all my boxes where blank, clear !
I then reviewed all the boxes step by step and put the ticks back in as if I were a newbie account holder. In effect performing some sort of account factory reset .... much as one would do with a mobile phone or other device. Lo and behold .... sorted.
Still have no idea what sort of wizardry I did but all is well.
