Sorry, only know it is a world centre of excellence. In my early AF days I even booked a holiday in the area just in case!

Professor (Dr) Pierre Jais is the pre-eminent EP doing PFA ablations in Bordeaux. And Bordeaux is the world center where Dr Hassigure 1st pioneered the pulmonary vein isolation. Pulsed Field Ablation is very new but promises to be a much safer faster method. I almost had abalation done there last year until I had to have another more pressing surgery. Best of luck to you. I think this is well worth it if you have the money.

Absolutely, Dr. Pierre Jais is the best. I had two ablations from him with my being one of his most complicated cases. To my knowledge, he is also spear-heading research on Pulse Field Ablation.
