Have had extensive tattooing since being on apixaban. I had no issues. Of course, everyone is different, and I have no idea what the medical community recommends, nor whether it's backed by science, caution or opinion. Just my experience. These were done at age 65 and later.

Tattoo while on apixaban.

I am considering switching from warfarin. I hear apixaban sp? Is excellent. Is it generic? Also, what is your INR now?

There is no generic for Apixaban and no INR testing as it works on inhibiting another blood factor other than VitK.

oh I noticed that my apixaban was changed from eliquis to teva. I got on to my pharmacist and he said he would get on to my doctor to specifically prescribe eliquis as teva was generic??!?!?!?

I stand corrected - there IS a generic made by Teva.

My feelings precisely Twoey. Give us a break maaaaarn willya. I’m just thinking … When it comes to the time when an old codjer’s skin starts to discolour with age and illnesses, how will the skin be monitored by the Doctors, to give an appraisal. BAFFLES me‼️‼️

Other than going against what JESUS says; Leviticus19: 28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print or tattoo any marks upon you: I am the Lord.” because your body is not yours anymore since HE died for us, Have you asked HIM?

Jesus wasnt around in Leviticus. Made no comment on tats in the New Testament and btw Christians are under the New Covenant. Lastly, I love my tats. Old skin with color! Amen!

2learn. My body is just fine, what's disfigured is your judgemental, off topic, prejudice filled remark. Inappropriate for this forum.
