I was successfully converted into NSR following cryoablation plus cardioversion just under 4/52 ago at UHCW- Coventry - who were superb. I have taken things very gently since and followed the guidelines as per your fact sheet. However about 4-5/7 ago started to notice groin area aching on movement with a constant nagging ache right shoulder and neck. Groin area is not inflamed, no lump and has healed well. Taking paracetamol with little effect and feel rough! My twin has had x3 ablations and never had any post op issues.
Any suggestions welcome. Probably need to speak to arrhythmia nurse at UHCW who have always been very helpful with my twin.
Thanking you in advance
Christine

I really think a call to th arrhytyhmia nurse is best as frankly after this length of time your groin should be fine and I can't think of any reason an ablation can cause shoulder and neck ache.
