no, I had one about four weeks, you are sedated, and feel great afterwards!

I’m also on list for an ablation, but 4 weeks in and still feel good, and I moved into my new home! 🤞🤞

that’s amazing 🤩 I am not having the cardioversion done now until Weds and I can go home until then! I am so worried about it! They said I have to make sure I have been consistent taking my apixaban for the last 4 weeks which I have done! X

absolutely nothing to worry about, takes 5 mins and you won’t feel a thing!

amazing! Thank you so much for putting my mind at rest! I am opting for the ablation to be done under GA I’m such a coward 🥴

Please take it easy at home after your cardioversion and no exerting yourself for a while. It's so easy for the heart to slip back into AF, as I've found to my cost. Someone on this forum went back into AF after having alcohol, so bear that in mind too.

Let your heart gain strength beating in its correct rhythm.

Best wishes

Jean x

thanks Jean, I’m at my sons so having a very lazy day, move into my new home tomorrow, but will only be doing essentials!

Yes, just slowly make your bed. Absolutely no lifting anything heavy . I'll admit I'm worried for you, so afraid you're going to kick AF off again. Please take care. X

I’m just taking it very slowly, haven’t got energy, unpacking can wait! Still got to have the ablation, so I’m not taking any risks. I was very impressed with RD&E ! Better than Torbay! Are you feeling better!

As soon as Icame to from my cardioversion I felt much, much better. I couldn't believe it. It was possibly all in my head, but even my vision seemed clearer.

I am glad yours went well
