Hiya everyone hope your all ticking away nicely. Havnt posted for a while as everything was going fine while I was in afib after 7months i was learning to live with it however the problems started when i reverted back to nsr out of the blue. Long story short at my cardiologist appointment he took me off Adizem XL which he said wasn't appropriate and put me on flecanide, I'm so dizzy i can't walk in a straight line!! Has anyone else had this and what's the solution??
flecanide dizziness : Hiya everyone... - Atrial Fibrillati...
flecanide dizziness
If you've only just started it, it might settle down. I remember dizziness, nausea and headaches for about 10 days. For me Flecainide works well but it doesn't suit everyone. Let's see what others say.
Yes, it took my body a few weeks as I was occasionally dizzy and now all is good. I started out at 50mg twice a day then had to increase to 100mg twice a day. Hope it settles for you soon.
When I took flacainide 75 2/day I could not walk straight. Stopped and now use 100 as PIP
Thanks to all of you lovely people who got back to me, spoke to my gp he put it down to my bisoprolol at 5mg twice daily and reduced to 2.5mg no change whatsoever still dizzy nausea legs like jelly, no appetite ,palpatations much worse?? Anyone had the same or similar reaction with flecanide???
