so was at cardiologist today for my 3 month post ablation follow up for AF. He’s thinking there is a good chance the AF has gone. I showed him the ecg traces from my Apple Watch which some of you had suggested bigeminy PVCs and that’s exactly what they are. He has me on a 24 hour monitor just now to see how many I’m actually having but to go back on bisoprolol to see if settles. He said that’s why I’m probably suffering from fatigue a lot but he didn’t seem too concerned so I’m taking that as a win for today!!

And so you should, all sounds good, try and keep cool over the next few days and drink lots of water…..
How soon if You see results after the ablation? I had mine done June 29th and I have had afib everyday since…. Still waiting for the moment to come where I don’t get afib .
You’re still early on in the healing process. I think last AF episode I had was at about 8 weeks in but then PVCs kicked in, cardiologist thinking they were there in the background and AF trumped them and now AF is hopefully gone, these are more prominent. Hoping I can get rid of these next but at least not as concerning as the AF. Hope you’re healing goes ok but just be patient, it’s a long road.
Thanks for posting after your follow up. I'm glad it went well. You are well on the mend and that's great. I wonder what the monitor will turn up? It's always interesting to read what these ECGs show and what a cardiologist thinks of them.
I sometimes take 1.25mg bisoprolol when I get similar runs of ectopic beats or mild tachycardia (my ablation for atrial; flutter was back in June 2019). I still get occasional AF, with lots of ectopic beats coming in runs of two or more, often without the usual pause. When one or two people here say we feel them more because we are super-sensitive to them, I am afraid I don't think that is true. Runs of ectopics are much more prominent and hard work to ignore even if they don't cause any harm long term.
Good luck with things.

Have your pvcs died down yet, I was getting bigemny for hours and hours and ended up at a&e twice. My pvcs came on 8 months post 2nd ablation for Af, when I came off the flecainide they started. I’m now taking 2.5 of bisoprolol twice a day, they only seem to come on when I’ve eaten now, upsetting buggers aren't they. Got an mri on Thursday then hopefully my ep will make a plan for me. I had a 72 hour tape and they said there were rare isolated pvcs, they didn’t feel rare, had an echo and was told there is nothing untoward. The pvcs have started two runs of fast but regular heart rate for me which stopped straight away with flecainide. No Af since ablation last June, I hope you get yours sorted.
I’m about 48 hours PVC free, hope it continues as feel so much better. I need to test the exercise limit to see if I can manage more than a mile walk or 10 mins on exercise bike without being exhausted and sweating but with this heat it’s not the best time to test that out!! My EP is going to contact me in 10-14 days with result of my 24hour monitor so will see what he says then. In meantime I’m remaining positive. Hope all goes well for you this week, keep us posted.
My Ep’s secretary called me today and he told her to tell me there is no concerning abnormalities with my cardiac mri, so a win I suppose, I have an appointment with him in September to see what happens next 👌🏻 Your pvcs still behaving?
That’s a win! Hope you stay well in interim till you next see him. Yes so bisoprolol seems to keep at bay most of the time, still getting them as caught several on my ECG but I’m not exhausted now with them so guess not as frequent. Still waiting on Holter monitor results to confirm ectopic burden over course of a day. I go back to discuss next steps in September and hope can show there is no evidence of AF at least since ablation, so far so good not had AF episode for 6 weeks 😁 Stay well 👍🏻
