A short time ago I posted that my bpm had reached 113 not long after an ablation. I had several responses to say others had had the same experience and it was common. I was put on Azidem XL which made me feel ill. Dr changed this back to Nebivolol 2.5 mg in morning and 5 mg at night which I have taken before. As a rough guide how long will it take for my heart to calm down to a fairly normal bpm in others experience. I appreciate everyone if different but consultant is already muttering about cardioversion

Mine was around six to nine months for my first three ablations. Still average 85 now.
If your consultant is muttering about cardioversion that suggests your heart is in some sort of arrhythmia as a cardioversion is not used just because your HR is fast - as far as I know. Has anyone said what the arrhythmia is?
