Three weeks today since my ablation and all is well in NSR ever sinceš
Need to still remember though that it's early days. We have two greenhouses and raised veg beds . We are also lucky enough to have a spring fed well so we don't use a water hose but cans instead.
MrW fills them and I have been using a very light half filled one to help out in this heat. Last night I must have had too much sun and picked up the large one I use in normal times.
Ooh...groin protested! No actual wound now hut obviously internally still healing. So just warning others to be aware.
Taking it very easy today as it's stinging.
Also does any one know the advice ref swimming ( in leisure pool) I could try and find out from the Arrthymia nurses or GP but as we know that's not often very swift shall we say!
Hope you are all being good and drinking lots in this heat xxx

I guess the danger is infection getting in your groin wound, small though it is. As you say it's still a little sore in that area I wouldn't hurry to go swimming until it's all fully healed. I've discovered that swimming (even in an indoor heated pool) triggers a strong AF rhythm, so I'm too afraid to swim now. I should probably give it a go again as I haven't tried for a few years.
I wouldn't do any flying bombs any time soon! Pleased to hear progress isn't too bad. Work has been bad in the heat, managed to sink nearly 4 litres yesterday and covered 8.5 miles on the ward, as well as 7.5 miles on Sunday so I've certainly needed it!
How wonderful that you remain in normal sinus rhythm! Wish that was my experience. Swimming such an excellent all around workout. Know you donāt intend to attempt much in the pool. Iād just be mindful of avoiding laps, raising oneās heart rate too high. Some light stretching and slow paddle though I would think safe.
I think the swimming worry is mostly about pools with chemicals. I couldnāt swim in a pool for 6 weeks after a surgery, but could go on the ocean after 2. Good luck!
