Post ablation recovery: funniest reply I received.

Even the best ablation is not an immediately wonderful experience. So while recovering in the hospital, it is great to get a few messages of encouragement, empathy, and love even if they are usually a bit predictable.

My favorite was from my son. "Sounds like everything went well today. Good job by you!"

I replied "Thanks! I did my part by passing out for a few hours but every job is important!"

His comeback was "Not to dismiss the work of your medical team, but none of it happens without you."

Got me laughing anyway, maybe you got a funny one too?

Oh bless your son, how lovely that he thinks you're so wonderful. His comments made me smile too.

That is hilarious at least to my generation, but a typical response from a Millennium. Not sure if that is the case or not with your son. And like Jean says, it's nice that he thinks you're great.

I thought it was hilarious but my wife didn't think it was funny at all so I guess we all have different senses of humor. My son definitely intended for me to have a laugh and it worked.
