I have been in permanent AF for6 Years I have had two cateract surgeries without issue.

I had eye surgery for retinal detachment - more intrusive than cataract and a longer procedure - no effect on my AF and they were not concerned about the anticoagulant Apixaban. Good luck

I wasn't actually in a-fib when I had two cataract surgeries, but neither triggered an a-fib episode.
