I have started taking ubiquinol (co enzyme Q10) to see if this will make any difference to the number of attacks. However the information on this seems conflicting as to whether it’s safe to take with apixaban. Does anyone know if it is ok to take the two

~Absolutely no problem for me - recommended by Specialist - taken alongside Betaloc, Xarelto, Lorsatan & Furosemide - one of these meds does deplete our CoQ10 but can not recall which one........
Hi Janey, I did take a Q10 supplement for a while, hoping that it would help me, but I still went back into AFib unfortunately. I really don’t know because I only took it for a while and not sure of its interaction… xx
Thank you for all that i shall continue taking it to see if it makes any difference. I went three weeks without getting an attack whereas I usually get one every two weeks. Whether that was down to ubiquinol I’m not sure. I’ll monitor it for a bit longer.
