Digoxin?
Best to check the archives of this forum. There are loads of postings. Anything specific ?
Phil
I was on Digoxin for a couple years and had no problems.
I’ve been on it since October and its helping me with my AF so all good 👍🏻
Reduced my heart rate without side effects. Off it now as surgeon took me off to go onto Amiodarone (yikes) before surgery.
It has quite a few contraindications with other meds etc., so I would recommend reading the paperwork very carefully before starting. Had to stop taking it which was a shame as it worked quite well although if my HR dropped, it often went too low.
I had persistent AF and have always been reasonably active. Took digoxin for 6 months (December 21 to June 22).
Found it was very unstable in stabilising my AF and heart rate especially during exercise (brisk walk on a treadmill) and has many food and drug interactions.
Digoxin is suitable for people with a sedentary lifestyle IMO.
