Good grief, so they have! They kept that one quiet, didn’t they. Bad show indeed!

If it was £5 and is now £25, it's gone up by £20, which is a 400% increase.

Well I definitely won't be using that service anymore, will have to review myself or email to doc if worried! 😡

I think I understand why, they got the price point too low at £5.00 in the first place and must struggle to get cardiologists to do a review.

it is a huge rise I agree, but trying to look at it dispassionately to get a medical opinion on an ecg for £25 same day is not dreadfully expensive, it was I as I said too cheap before.

From personal experience a half hour private consultation with an EP is between £150-200

I think the bad thing is not saying “ we got the price wrong snd we are really sorry”

Isn't one review free each month with a KardiaCare subscription? I've never used the service even though I pay for the extended service. I might not be keeping this up with the extra burden this year is bringing in energy costs.

I never pay for that, my consultant will look at mine and tell me what is what. I just email them to him. I’d rather pay and go to him than someone I don’t know.

Wow, that's steep!

I've just checked and it's four reviews a year:

"Receive ECG reviews by a cardiac physiologist. Every 90 days select an ECG to be reviewed by a cardiac physiologist without leaving your home. Four reviews annually are included with your membership."

See: store.alivecor.co.uk/produc...

I can't see where there are details of how many reviews you've used up. When it was only a fiver it didn't matter that much and I never explored it. Now it's 25 quid I'd like that info available.

Here's hoping they don't also sneak up the annual price of Kardiacare to cover the additional cost...
