Hi all, sorry to be a pain but after ablation for five weeks my heart was stable , in the last few weeks my HR has been high 148 the highest about four times. Is this normal ?, I’m out of breath, and the centre of my chest still hurts. I’m going into wk 8. Before ablation it was mainly irregular but now it’s HHR that’s been happening. Anyone know if this is normal still. 😊

Please contact your arrhythmia nurse on Monday as this should not be happening. It sounds like atrial tachycardia which is s not uncommon at this stage and likely needs to be cardioverted.

Thank you , I think they put tachycardia on my notes from hospital.

I don’t think you should have pain in your chest at this time, please make sure you get checked out and let us know how you get on ❤️‍🩹

Hi, thank you, I will. It feels like indigestion, I’m on so many pills it’s probably one of those. I’m going to call arrhythmia nurse tomorrow.

Hi, Went to doctors and he is lowering my edoxaban from 60 to 30 mg, and I’ve put a call out to the arrhythmia nurse so hopefully I can get all this cleared up.

First of all, you're not a "pain" -- any a-fib question is valid! I hope you contact your doctor regarding your symptoms. Though you're still in the blanking periods, a quick zap (cardioversion) might be in order to set things right.

Hi, thank you, I went to docs today he is lowering my edoxaban from 60 mg to 30, hope that will still prevent stroke , he said even on a blood thinner I can have a bleed in the brain so it’s best to lower it given the bleeding I’ve had. I’ve also put a call out to the arrhythmia nurse.
