Talking over breakfast I forgot to wish OH Happy St Patrick’s Day so he got a bit iffy so I asked - What does St Patrick’s Day mean to you?

Dog Show, he replied.

DOG show I said.

Yes he said - as a small boy we always went to the Dog Show(s).

Did your family show dogs?

Yes, sometimes, but that wasn’t the reason we went to the dog show.

So why?

Because all the pubs were shut and the only place you could get a drink was at the Dog Show. Once we were in there and a man stood on the dog’s tail and the dog shrieked and the man said - b….y stupid place to bring a dog.

Apologies to all animal lovers but typical Irish logic and had to be repeated.

Sometimes it’s just funny, well it’s my sense of humour as if you can’t laugh at ourselves, you shouldnt’t laugh at others.

Some people will wind us up whatever CD. I thought it hilarious but do remember I was once blocked for saying "whatever blows your frock up." A saying of my aged aunt now long dec'd by the way. See you in a couple of weeks once my sentence is run. lol 😁
