Thank you everyone for the words of encouragement for last night. I had a PVI for atrial arrhythmias 6 years ago and last night was one of the worse nights I’ve had since ablation. Things were going very well for last 3 years. Last night for some reason I developed so many PACs I think I was in a fib for 5 hours and could not sleep. The rhythm was not fast just very worrisome with all the skipped beats. I wound up taking my emergency diltiazem and was then able to fall asleep and woke up without arrhythmia. Ugh anymore worlds of wisdom? Is this something I may have to deal with every once in a while? Or is this my arrhythmia returning after ablation?

Hi Rdieh.
What to say ? Well first off it's great news your back in sinus. Sleep is important to us afibbers. There's nothing worse than afib waking you up in the middle of the night.

Yes it could be. Your ablation might need a 'top up'. Contact your medic and see what they say. I would ask them for some sleeping pills (they will only give you a few) so you can sleep it off.
Hope it goes well for you.
Paul
