Sassy A F

WhitstableWanderer profile image

No, I've never heard of "Sassy AF" before either.... But my lovely wife found this Valentines card and thought of me!

Ever the romantic, I went off and played golf, but I did cook her dinner tonight. My heart may be a bit wonky but it still works

Text abreviations are not rude. They are what you think they are. lol . WTF=why the fear? Anybody who thinks otherwise has no right to complain as their minds are far from pure.

I guess if we're going to have AF WhitstableWanderer it might as well be the Sassy kind! 😀

I know the word, to my mind it means flirtatiously cheeky. Probably a word used more in the US.

What a great find.

That’s why I tend to copy the Americans and use AFib as the abbreviation.

Clue please, I must be really innocent.

Ummm, the 'AF' bit doesn't really refer to AFib, but could translate politely as meaning 'as anything'. Sorry, it's a bit rude!

I know, LindaDaisy, I recently discovered the meaning and yes, it’s pretty rude. The A is for “As…” and now think of a “bad word” beginning with F. :-). Heard my “woke” nephew using the phrase, then I started seeing it in print. Supposed to mean “a lot of something”, or something is “really cool”. It’s just vulgar, IMO. Hope it dies out soon!

There's a town named Fraser here in Colorado that has bumper stickers that proclaim "WTF" in large letters. Underneath in small letters it says "Welcome to Fraser". Some of you probably thought it meant something else😂!
