Just an alert about the latest scam I have just received.
We Afibbers tend to be an anxious bunch and I must admit this had me going for a few minutes till hubby checked his NHS Track and Trace, which was of course negative , as was mine.
Hi Maggiemunro, this is quite a prevalent scam at the moment and was reported to me in the HU community which I administer too, so I looked up the number on the 'Who Called Me' website, which is a really useful and free to use site at: who-called.co.uk/. If you wonder whether a call was genuine, you can check here and add your own scam callers to help others.
Thank you.. I too received exactly the same content on the morning I was about to go on a short break over holiday half term with my boys. It through me for a moment but I checked the official tracker which reported nothing. I did not touch the link in the text and did send a who is this reply, however I believe there are sites this type of fraud can be reported to. The mobile number that sent this in my case was different but nevertheless a scam.
