Do PVCs feel different to PACs? I'm getting short runs of ectopic beats (often 4 in a row), which I think might be NSVT.
I'm used to experiencing AF, which feels light and chaotic compared to sinus rhythm, but these recent short runs feel more forceful than AF, and also feel regular - could they be ventricular, or potentially atrial flutter?
I'm almost 5 weeks post ablation for AF, and understand that arryhthmias are quite common at this period of recovery.

Ectopics (out of place) beats can come from either atrium or ventricle but have the same basic effect. If the ventricle fires before the atrium has passed blood down to it there is nothing to pump so it feels like a missed beat and the next one more forceful. If the atrium fires first similar things happen.
No. ECG trace required to distinguish them. Why do you think this is NSVT? Suggest discuss with arrhythmia nurse.
Following an ablation for fibrillation, rather than flutter, I was told that it's necessary to wait for 3-6 months for the heart to heal fully for some of the effects from the ablation to wear off. What you describe sounds like those.
I was told that neither atrial flutter, which I had in 2019, nor AF, which I now get only occasionally, cannot in themselves, be felt, and that what is felt is the effect these can create on the ventricular pulse. I occasionally get runs of PVCs (or PACs, I don't know which) as you describe, sometimes for hours. They feel just as you say - a heavy "thump" that is hard to ignore. I was told that they were not in any way dangerous.
