The EP gave me pantoprazole for a month
Yes, I have experienced similar inflammation of stomach and oesophageal tract that is beginning to ease after 8 weeks. My chest and upper back have also been sensitive to touch. Good luck.
Yes it’s very common but I refused PPI’s. Just be really careful with your eating, avoid carbs such as cereal, bread and biscuits if you can and sip hot water after a meal. it does ease over time.
Many people including doctors underestimate just how long your body takes to recover and some people are much more sensitive to inflammation than others.
hi i have had 2 ablations and have suffered from stomach problems wind bloating and just not feeling well. There is a nerve called the vagas nerve that goes from your heart to your stomach it can get disturbed during an ablation and causes stomach problems. it can settle a few weeks after i am now on lansprazole and it is much better now. though for me i have found that it can now be a sign that i may have an AF episode so i take an extra flecanide for a few days if my stomach gets upset and it seems to be working for me by preventing my AF. things will settle dont eat late at night and just eat smaller amounts for a while too i wish you well and hope that things improve for you.
My stomach problems, and they were terrible, went away as soon as I changed blood thinners. Don't know what meds you are on, if any, but I would get pain and sometimes nauseated. When I changed blood thinners, it all went away! I hope you improve soon!
Pradaxa (don't know if that's the correct spelling)
Yes my stomach was a mess for 8 days, constipation then the opposite then constipation again. Switching the drug to protect oesophagus worked I think.
