It stops when it stops - took about 9 months in my case. Just go very carefully, eat little and more often and drink a cup of hot water AFTER you eat, always eat at table sitting upright, don’t rush from the table, linger and digest. Avoid all the usual stimulants - all the stuff we are constantly talking about on here.

I totally support CDreamers advice above.

So that I don't eat too much at mealtimes, in between them I eat some nuts or fruit. The moment I feel I'm full when eating - I stop, no matter how lovely the food on my plate is. I feel so much better by doing this and my meals have become smaller and smaller as I hate waste. Over eating can often be a trigger for AF, as is any form of alcohol. Also avoid any foods that contain artificial additives.

mlp, I haven’t had an ablation but was having irregular heartbeats after eating two years ago and actually did the things CD and Jean wrote above, sitting up straight while eating, sipping warm water after eating small meals and the irregular heartbeats did stop. Hoping you feel better soon.
