Merry Christmas
Pleased it worked for you…..have a great day 🎄
Hi Bernard, I’m glad you’re sorted. Unfortunately, I’m still fibbing nicely, having started at 11.30 last night🙄 Back to the cardio for a new treatment plan in the New Year, methinks! Enjoy the rest of the day!
I have been trying to use Flecainide as PIP for the past six months but the AF occurrences have started to last longer so last week I reverted back to 100mg twice daily and using the final 100mg as PIP, as I said earlier it worked a treat last night AF was over within 1.5 hours of taking the PIP. I will continue like this until I get my 2nd ablation.
Thank you, that’s useful to know. I’m finally back in NSR after a 15 hour stint, so will be looking into Flecainide ready to run it past the cardiologist when I manage to talk to him again. Good luck with your 2nd ablation. Hope you don’t have to wait too long.
I am now on Flecainide 100mg BD, since October. I have had persistent AF return since mid Sept. Now been in NSR for 6 weeks since 2nd cardioversion. On 10mg bisoprolol and 100mg BD Flecainide. And Dr's orders no running or cycling till I get fixed hopefully on my 2nd ablation.
Ablation was gonna be in Jan, if it weren't for Omicron blocking all non urgent admissions right now... I have the option of the extra 100 PIP if needed. I am now sticking religiously to the meds cos I don't want to kick out again before my ablation!!
Luckily no real side effects, tho massive reduction on exercise is hard. N working hard to watch my weight on the Bisoprolol
