Despite being an atheist, I still respect all God's commandments, except this one: Do not sleep with neighbors wife, lol!

Wishing you all Merry Christmas and an AF free New Year! ❤️

Hi Nesko

I'll correct you to make it

"anyone's wife".

Also God and prayers sometimes God helps.

Yesterday to my surprise my H/R was 65 before my heart pillin the morning.

My heart is changing.

Too scared to take Diltriazem as at the raised 180mg I was shunted to 51 some 105H/R a minute less in 2 hours.

I'm carefully monitoring H/R and B/P and changed to use Bisoprolol again but at midday at the moment.

Glad I have a BP monitor.

Talked to a new DR at my clinic but did not agree that I should continue with the CCB. I might not have a HR!

This morning at 8.30. 116/70. 65 H/R

so I am trying out 1.25mg am midday and 1.25mg 8pm. Bisoprolol.

I'll see what tomorrow's level is.

cheers JOY. 73

Hello, JOY!

I am really glad to see that you are trying to adjust your medication and that you are brave enough to experiment!

I am like you - got the medication for high BP some 5 years ago and still have not taken a single pill of it! Lately, I measure often 160/110 and feel perfectly well with it. Earlier, where the profit was not so important to drug producers, recommended values for elderly were 100+AGE, meaning that my upper value could be 100+70=170, without worry. Reducing the limits for "increased BP" Big Pharma got a lot of new customers, lol. Such a pleasant thing for them!

Something about BP and HR. Your BP and HR are perfect at the moment. Keep an eye on HR and, if it goes further down, bellow say 45, stop bisoprolol. It will help to increase your HR, above the dangerous level of bradycardia.

All the best!

P.

Hi

I am an ex Nurse and always interested in medical diagnoses and medication.

Um your optimum BP is 120-135 over under 91. It used to be at 100 Diastolic that medication was offered. H/R should be under 100 otherwise an Anaesthetist would not operate.

When I saw the private cardiac wth rapid persistent Day H/R resting it was over 120 plus.

I will regulate my BP and H/R as my heart which was controlled doesn't need as much medication.

You have AF. It can be caused by high blood pressure, thyroid hyper.., over doing fitness, worry, too much alcohol, smoking and food.

Somehow 100 + age is so incorrect! Be careful as you dont want a stroke which takes 2 of the above circumstances.

I have been on just metoprolol and just bisoprolol so I know the dosage and my uncontrolled H/R and BP.

Always run it past your doctor. Or explain what you are going to do .. medications way.

cheers JOY. 73

Medical profession has shown to be untrustworthy in these past 2 years! Shame on them! Just look what's coming (look at Dr. John Campbell's videos)

If I die on sudden stroke, I promise to report about it in the forum, lol!

Best wishes! P.

I read somewhere that archeologists now believe there were a few commandments left at the top of the Sinai as Moses told God he'd never get away with those. ;-)

Bravo, Steve! Thanks for the laugh!!! In my country, the laugh is the most important thing in life - we laugh about everything, no matter how serious the crisis is. Good mood, good health!
