To one and all, wishing us all a peaceful and NsR time!Hope you all have a lovely time, however you are spending it.
I'm knee deep in packing to move early New Year," Nightmare before Xmas don't enter innit!"
If not packed I don't need it,but if its packed I do,like certain casserole dishes etc!
Presents have gone AWOL!
Usually well organised, but all gone to pot! Butcher delivery organised though so..fingers crossed.
However, I have got my sausage and herb rolls done, mince pies and stuffing in freezer ,so just going to put the sprouts and cabbage on lol!
So bring on 2024,here's raising a glass of 0% guineas to us, those who are struggling ,those waiting for interventions, those newly diagnosed and scared, and those of us veterans ,all if us in the Crazy Heart Club

Hello D, luv the Headdress, very understatedππ Good luck with the move, make sure youβve got plenty of stress busters! All the best for Christmas and the New Year xxx
Yes I thought added a touch of class lol! TThank you FJ!
BTW, You couldn't make it up...GIT main oven decided to call it a day...despite a thrashing with a locally sourced Bush,no way. Hoping local Handy Chap can oblige.
Ahh happy christmas to you too. Wishing you health and happiness in your new home, and exciting times ahead.Happy christmas to everyone and a happy and healthy new year xxxx
Here's wishing you all the best too. Mad time of year to be moving so hope that goes well with as little stress as possible and hope you have yourself a merry little Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year x
Oh I do feel sorry for you with the clearing out. We moved in September after 32 years and it took us months to get rid of "stuff" to suitable places. Even now in the new place we still take things to the charity shops! It does make you feel lighter though. Possessions can weigh you down. Best of luck for the move. Make sure you take the branches with you in case something needs a beating in the new place!π€π
i cannot imagine what it must be like to move house, Good luck to you and hope it all goes smoothly. Heartfelt wish that you will enjoy your new home and have a lovely Christmas.
Have a lovely Christmas and great (healthy) new year. I hope the move goes well and that you will be happy and content in your new home. All the best. Pat
OH what fun moving. IT's 10 years since we did and there are still 5 boxes in the garage unopened. I need a skip. As I have c hronic pain as well as heart disease I can only stand up for a few minutes to Christmas things were started 2 months ago. One bit at a time. I only got round to mince pies last night with a few last week in the freezer. Just bird to defrost; son to collect and husband will prep the veg so I can relax. All that fuss for one day. The tree only went up last night. Although yesterday I received the best present I could ever get; the only video in existence of my late dad when he was on "the Animal Roadshow" back in the 80s with Desmond Morris. I cried my e yes out watching it. My copy got damaged years ago and I've spent years trying to find someone who had recorded it . HAPPY Christmas.
