Hi, I know AF episodes are part of the recovery process post ablation and have been told it’s perfectly normal but what have people experienced with regard going back into AF? Several times ? For long?

A few weeks after my third ablation I was stuck in AF and needed a cardioversion. It was that ablation that helped me most.

Yep, I was disappointed to have had repeated AF and tachycardia problems throughout the first three months after my ablation. The last one of those lasted nearly 70 hours and I spent 16 hours on a trolley in A&E.

I now feel lucky not to have had a repeat of any kind in the last two months. Fingers crossed!

I had a few episodes during the 3-month blanking period after my April ablation, then one at one-week after that (caused by trauma from breaking my wrist), but all's well now.
