Ablation tomorrow!

Having an ablation under GA tomorrow (11th) and am trying to keep calm! I have been reading some positive posts on here and feel just about ready to face it, in fact I am looking forward to it now. I so want to feel ‘normal’ again. X

Positivity is the best way to do this. In and out in no time and then complete rest. You may notice a few misplaced beats but don’t panic it will settle down usually after a few weeks but can take 6-12 months before it completely settles, but no more AF. Good luck and read Bobs recovery sheet 👍

All the best, I’m sure it will go well. I had mine in Nov 2015, had a little ‘blip’ in Dec, then all settled down. Look after yourself while your heart recovers.

All the best. I had mine under GA. That was 2013 and still AF free. Remember to take things VERY easy. Read the factsheets.

Very best wishes to you. I'm awaiting ablation and I can relate with the mix of worry/ uncertainty and positive expectation. I would think that's pretty normal. Hope so anyway 😉Wishing you speedy recovery...or a slow, steady well paced one maybe 🙃 🌸
