I have come across this article about the consequences of a severe shortage of thiamine. It includes the statement that POTS can be caused by a lack of thiamine.

Thanks for posting - very interesting article - not directly linked to PoTS, more to leaky gut, SIBO leading to malabsorption which could possibly be triggers for Dysautonomnia which I can quite get on board with so I can quite follow the reasoning & see the links.

So pleased to see things like SIBO, poor diet, Leaky Gut leading Nutritional Dysfunction and lack of absorption of micronutrients being posed as the original cause of so many modern diseases.

Oh - for a lot more research and advice on this subject rather than focusing on meds & procedures which only treat symptoms.

I regularly visit a website called Hormones Matter run by Chandler Marrs and Derrick Lonsdale and I have tried high dose thiamine to try and address some of my floxing issues. I have found it helpful especially for fatigue. I take a product called Allithiamine three or four times a week. Hormones Matter is an interesting site .
