What medication are you on Hazel and are you in constant AF?
Was about so ask same thing.😀
Have you received 2 jabs and maybe the booster too? Many people have reported about the symptoms similar to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome after the jabs...
Hi , I’ve only had my first jab in March and this started the day after probably a coincidence and I’m not a scare monger , having said that I’m not having any more
If you are in constant AF then this could be why you are exhausted, also some drugs (I am thinking Bisoprolol here) certainly makes me feel as if I am wearing lead boots. I note you have been fairly recently diagnosed and are having quite a hard time of it. Hopefully you will more sympathy and a better treatment plan when you have your appointment in November and things will get better for you. In the interim, have you been prescribed anti-coagulants? You don't have to wait until your November appointment, your GP can prescribe these for you.
Do let us know how you get on.
I was told by my gp , her words , to wait for the experts and she has other people to see ….
I am astonished, that is truly shocking. Are you saying she refused to prescribe anti-coagulants? Please don't accept this; in your shoes I would be complaining loud and long, either to the head of the practice or directly to the NHS. Do you have any other practice near you that you could change to? The day I was diagnosed my GP prescribed anticoagulants and oversaw my treatment until my referrals came through, which is the very least your practice should be doing. Sometimes you need to fight your corner, easy to say, I know, but this is your wellbeing we are talking about. Please don't let this rest. I will be waiting to hear how you get on.
I think AFib makes you feel tired. Much more so than in normal sinus rhythm. Personally I find that when I feel really tired I just stop and sit quietly doing my deep breathing for a bit. I certainly cannot do as much as I used to do. On the other hand old age is catching up with me which probably is not in your case. Listen to your body. Are you anaemic? Pull your lower eyelid down and see if it is a nice healthy red colour. If not tell your doc.
Yes me too! I don't know what to do.
If afib is not constant, getting used to the diagnosis itself takes awhile, and can be distressing. Also if you're on new medications, beta-blockers in particular, they can make you tired. It will get better, you'll figure out what you can do to either prevent episodes, and/or accept them
