I'm registered with Barts. They have a reputation for being amongst the best in Europe in this area, so you are in good hands. Am sure all will go well!
Really good to hear.. I'm in my bed with gown on and just waiting .I think they may be taking an elderly lady down first . Im listening to meditation to try stop the shakes lol ....
I did yes. Its not as bad as you think it’s going to be and they will explain everything you should expect to you before hand. Honestly you’ll be fine don’t worry 👍 worse bit for me was tormenting myself before hand. I’m a total wuss when it comes to having my body messed with 🤣 but was much better than I thought
I was there last week and conscious throughout. I was surprised no one supported me whilst on the table . I was put on the table and connected up . No conversation whilst it was taking place .
I was conscious throughout as well and to be fair I didnt have much conversation with a supporting nurse while it took place. I did actually look around a few times to ask for pain relief when I felt it in my jaw and shoulders. No one was near me apart from the doctor.
So you're over and out. All went OK? I had two nurses and two EPs for mine and QEH BIRMINGHAM. I think the more experienced EP was overseeing the other one. I felt that the team was excellent, they were communicative but I just left them to get on with it. They did have difficulty because of the pain response even though I don't remember much of it.
Over and out Singwell, thank goodness and thank you for asking. There was enough staff there, just when I wanted to turn to someone and say I would like more pain relief, Although it wasnt an issue as doctor requested it immediately.
Hope you are doing well. Take care. Rest. And don't let the Drs brush you off about any concerns you have. But sounds like you had a good place to have your procedure so Drs will treat you well.
I am much better than i was prior to the ablation but i am in permanent AFib again. It is not nearly as bad as it was and although i am restricted in what i can do i am able to live a life and provided i dont over strain myself all is well. Before it was really awful. Good luck
