I had a “video session” with him yesterday, having had a previous one about a year ago….worth every penny as it is so brilliant to have someone who both listens and takes a holistic view of Afib and his explanation of things makes one so much more confident in understanding the options. It’s not “second chairing” my own cardiologist but its having the opportunity to understand more about what my excellent doctor is doing for me and what the options are. And Sanjay is a charming and well informed guy.

Great explanation about AFib, better to have ablation before it becomes persistent, use of anti coagulants, possible long term effects of AFib on dementia, and most helpful of all the heart - gut connection the Roemold Syndrome and triggers. Just lovely to have 45 minutes “chewing the fat” and feeling able to ask stupid questions without feeling stupid.
