Sucessful ablation today using Mapping/anatomic technique although I'm aware it's early days.

Cryo PVI ablation to 4 PVs Lower and upper branches including a bonus freeze in LUPV.

Conclusion: sucessful but difficult PVI with no complications.

Local sedation and pain relief - I could feel some of the freezes and was hiccupping to keep check on phrenic nerve. Duration 1.5 hrs

A big thank you esp to BobD and CDreamer Jeanjeanie et al. Such wise words and always helpful to the cause! Usung heroes! and yes BobD I will follow your advice and keep reading the recommended reading leaflet in my recovery stage. Thanks everyone!! 😁

Glad to hear all went well Nick and wishing you a speedy recovery. Take it easy for a few weeks now and let you heart muscles grow strong beating in their correct rhythm.

Yes. Did you feel the actual freezes?

I had mine in April. I only felt one of the freezes, just a brief ice cream brain zap. The only thing I really felt in the heart area was the septal puncture. I had a bonus freeze too......... wonder if they're on a buy 4 get one free offer this year 😁.

It'll be fine I'm sure. I was pretty much stressed before the ablation but all good on the day.
