Sweating excessively with AF?

Hi all,

4 years into my AF journey and I find I swear a lot more than I used to? My menopausal wife has fewer hot flushes than me. 😂 Is this a symptom or is it just me?

Giggling at the typo - thank you for making me smile today 😉. I definitely swear a lot too. But to answer your question - for me it's only sometimes and in my case it's anxiety and adrenaline. Might it be worth flagging with your GP?

Ha ha! Yes I do that more too but that’s an age thing and something to do with being a belligerent Yorkshire man! 😂

You had me giggle too.😁. When my AF first kicked off, I used to get some super high pulse rates (200 bpm +) and I would sweat (and swear 😊) to the point it ran down my face. Not now, fortunately after meds etc keeping the pulse at more sensible levels. Worth having a chat with your Dr.

Yes, I sweat a lot too used to worry me as I did not think it was one of the symptoms. Good to hear I am not alone 😂😳

I had fast AF (160-180) and regularly sweated, mainly around the collarbone and yes I swore a lot more lol
