I am awaiting to see specialist for Afib change to persistent.Waiting since Feb.In the past I have had low pulse pressure but coming far too often now.95/74 & 97/77 this morning.27th 119/96.Some days no problems.Had a echocardiogram 26 may so not heart failure. No particular symptoms but Afib symptoms are quite mild & erratic. Should I worry?

If you mean your blood pressure, if you are in AF few home machines are remotely accurate I'm afraid. Only the old fashioned way with stethoscope and manometer can be guaranteed.

That said my BP can be 100/65 sometimes with no problems. Bottom rate of 96 is too high by the way but again I doubt it correct. Unless you feel faint or dizzy on standing I wouldn't worry unduly.

Thanks Bob I am aware home BP machines are not totally reliable but comparing like to like..It is the gap between the systolic / diastolic. The gap should be more than 30 I believe. So 20/25 is low.Just wondering if this is common in AF

in that case yes.

I find the gap between the systolic / diastolic gets low on my home BP machine (auto-inflating cuff) when I am arrhythmic. I think the machine can't accurately read BP in that situation. So the reality might not be as bad as it looks.

During AFib your ventricles will pump in a vacuum when the Atrials and Ventricles are not in sync. This will cause a lower pulse pressure.

I'm not a doctor but it seems to agree to engineering laws.
