Can you take Vitamin D3 & Bit K2 when on Apixaban

If so how much max is safe to take of both Vitamins

Ideally you should have a vit D test to see whether you are deficient or not. How much you take would be a measure of how deficient you are and how quickly you wish to get into the normal range. You should be aware that the UK normal range is the lowest in Europe so better to aim for above 75 nmol/ l . There is no contraindication for being on Apixanban . My GP prescribes vit D for me and I am on Apixaban.

Hi I'm not medically trained but from what I gather vitamin k2 the mk7 version seems to be ok but I would really do some research into that to be sure before you would start taking it there are so many opinions out there that we need to be satisfied with our conclusions

You shouldn’t just take vitamins because you see others taking this that and the other, not accusing you here. I’m a Complementary Therapist of 22 years, not a nutritionist. Many vitamins and minerals interact with each other and there’s a fine balance. You need to consult a specialist. Probably better to eat the foods containing these minerals and vitamins
