Heart monitor warning

In the past I have recommended a certain HR monitor along side the Kardia. I won't name and shame but will say I withdraw totally my rec for it. Don't ask why - I just do after spending the afernoon in A&E showing how wrong the reading is.

Just saying - Kardia is king.

If you know of a problem isn't it only fair to warn others who may be using the device or thinking of buying one ?!

Sure Bant. As rule of a thumb I try not to knock things online - to much of it goes on. I will stick to just giving the the Kardia my recommendation in future ;-)

PS it was the ME 90 I've always suggested in the past. It is a couple of years old now so maybe that's the reason for the false readings.

Thanks Paul, it's a bit of a minefield with all these different monitors ! Hope you have recovered from your A&E trip.

I often say these devices are unreliable and only kardia seems to work with any accuracy. I recently trialled a new wearable device which failed completely after the third wearing and was unable to download or communicate at all.

The Kardia is definitely a great piece of kit 👍

I have used Heart Rate Free on my iPhone for years now. Had no problems with it. Also had it checked against my Doctors equipment and it was very accurate plus it gives my heart rate and rhythm and is free 😊😊

Sorry Paul, I meant to ask how you are and what prompted the trip to A&E - bit late but I hope you are OK now?

My Kardia has been in use for a couple of days 😕 but no use going to A&E unless I can’t stand up! Should be glad that hasn’t happened I guess 😐
