Ablation 4 months ago, by all accounts very successful. Whatever success is!
An update is to confirm I have been able to finally get back to some form of normal days activity and not feel totally fatigued. Importantly I have been able to back to back these days.
Not where I was prior to ablation, but demonstrably better.
Always remembering I was recovering from a RTKR 10 mths ago.
This is a long journey. It is easy to believe once you get beyond the 3 month blanking period and are symptom free all will be good. The dreaded fatigue will still be around to let you know who is boss!!

This is useful to hear as I've been surprised by the fatigue! Some days your energy level feels really good and then you'll flop down for no apparent reason. I'm 10 weeks in and just started cutting down on my meds. Hope you continue well and on the improvement slope!
So good to read you’re finally feeling better - well done you! Good info re fatigue I’m made a note & will def take your advise. Good luck with everything 😀
Thanks, I am concurrently recovering from a right total knee replacement. As challenging as these are at least you can measure progress with a TKR. I found the recovery from the ablation frustrating as finding quantifiable progress elusive. Why two in the same year?, with covid no international travel so thought a half life refit in order!!
Haha well at least they are both now done I guess! Good luck with both. I’m a week post ablation & sleeping lots. AF most nights but nowhere near how it was & 1 tablet rather than 3 is sorting it v quickly. 3 tablets weren’t touching it! Your post has given me patience & look at realistic long term recovery from fatigue 😁
