Can someone explain what the small waves represent between the T waves and P waves.

I have 3 or4 of them. Heart rate is75

Could be electrical interference - I have a Pacemaker so sometimes get extra bumps. Have you got your filter on if using Kardia?Could be you weren’t staying still enough?

If exaggerated the could be ectopic beats?

Difficult to say without seeing the trace. Can you post as there are often a few EP’s who post on the site who very occasionally jump in to offer reassurance but the best option is to send trace to your specialist and ask an expert.

I have an EMAY portable ECG. I dont know how it compares to Kardia or whether it can post to the group. I can send it by email.

I have been diagnosed as atypical flutter and persistant. Have been cardooverted once. Sort of worked for a few months but always tired and often nauseas. 24 days aģo the arrythmia stopped but still have all the other symptoms along with several big thumos in my chest each day that cause me to suck in involuntary. For a few days after this change i got some much needed sleep but now it has started back to only a few hrs each night. Colin

There can often be a big link for AF/AFL with sleep apnea - I just wondered if you had been tested?

I was far more sympathetic withAFl than AF.

What does your machine say. Kardia will tell if you have Af, ectopics , and few more arrhythmias. And if in doubt you can ask them to check it and for £5 they will give you an analysis.
