Living with Constant AFIB

Morning all I just wanted to thank you all for your kind words and suport. To say it’s been a rough week would be an understatement. However it’s so nice to be back home and in own bed. I have cares that come in every morning and that’s now been increased to 3 times a day. Living with my CHD and worsening condition is something I’v always know was going to happen. I’m just so grateful for what I’v been able to wile I was well enough. Now comes the fun rollercoaster ride of transplant assessment

Hi Tori, I reckon you must get frequent flyer points on your trips to hospital giving you a first class ticket! I'm sorry you have felt so rough, 200bpm is unpleasant and scary but glad you are now back in the comfort of your own home. Get that 'lifeline' installed it will give you a lot of reassurance too. Take care, sending love & hugs xxx

I can't add much more than that's already been said. I also wish you all luck and success sweetheart.

Tell you what (lighter note) - those glasses really suit you. Mine are awful - I'll do you a swap if you want ;-)

Loads and loads of best,

Paul x

Arrr thank you. Everyone seems to my specs. I’m adapting to the constant AFIB as it will be my norm now

Tell you what Buddy. It's not nice I know - and this is easy for me to say (I know that as well). You'll cope and come through it a stronger person. I just know you will.

I think you are a stronger person than I. Your courage is spot on and an inspiration to us all. Well done you - I wish I had your gut's. You are strong for sure.

Not just saying this - you inspire me. I don't want any 'likes' for my comment as I mean it. You'll nail this and have the courage to see it through. Somehow I just know I'm right.

I have been in permanent AFIB for 2 years. Over time I seem to have adjusted to the symptoms and I actually think its better than having random episodes of feeling terrible. Hopefully you might find it gets like this while you are waiting for your next treatment.

Been over a decade for me, I barely even take notice of it anymore

I would rather it stayed in AFIB now as like u say going in and out is even more stressful

Hard to add anything much except good thoughts and wishes for you Buddy. And - yes- the glasses are great. May your body adapt to the constant AF so that you feel more comfortable while waiting for transplant news.
