Always pick an EP who does many ablations!

Having an ablation, you must research the EP. If he or she does less than 50 a year or even a hundred be careful. You need to pick the EP carefully. The best person I know is Dr Shilling but you have to pay for his services. Always always find out the about the person before committing.

Wouldn't like being called doctor! Apart from that you are right he is one of the better ones around. Our paths cross from time to time even though he has never been my EP.

Yes I asked to be on my Professors own proceedure list ,as otherwise it could be done by someone I never met or know anything about reputation ( one of the consultant team)Will take longer ( at least 12 months )

Agree absolutely. Unfortunately the best technicians have the longest wait time in the UK on the NHS.

I could be wrong but I think he does/did NHS work too, at least one person on here had an ablation performed by him.

I had a consultation with an EP who carried out ablations, but said that he wouldn't have one. You guessed it, I haven't had an ablation.
