Does anyone use this facility? Do you understand how it works and what it does?

It may be worth knowing about if you want to be selective as to what posts you want to see or not. Under the ‘More’ button - Sentiment Feedback.

I may have had a quick look at it when it first appeared, but have just had a good look now.

Would recommend that everyone does.

It may eventually allow those forum members who want to, to just view the more positive AF related posts.

It may be an idea for new members to the site to just see all AF specific posts and not the general chit chat ones, perhaps they could be assessed by a discreet on screen button.

Me - I want to read every post here, especially those with new ideas relating to AF, but the fun and also discussion ones are interesting too and for me, make the forum more interesting.

Exactly!

I used to when it first appeared but couldn’t see the point as I agree with Jean. Sometimes a post seems 🙁 or 🙄 but morphs into 🤔 or 😂 or 😡

It’s not the emoji button - Sentiment Feedback button is under ‘more’ and is anonymous and feeds into an algorithm which then can help you be selective about the posts you read. I’ve not tried it and don’t know exactly how it works but thought if people knew about it then those who want to avoid reading posts they aren’t interested in may be able to avoid them? Just a thought.

All I have got is the 5 emoji buttons in ‘sentiment feedback’ under ‘more’, I read the explanation originally and I thought it was a silly idea and still do.

OK - just a thought.

Didn’t intend to be rude, sorry, I did use it faithfully for weeks when it first appeared but knowing what I know now about algorithms I am very doubtful about its usefulness/effectiveness.

It’s under the ‘more’ button, it’s not the emoji button or in the text box. Read it and then I’d be interested in your comments.

Thank you. I’ll have to think about that.

If you don't like the forum you have the option to leave.

It doesn't seem to give personal control but rather overall via an algorithm? Or have I misunderstood it?

I would prefer an 'ignore' setting for both post types and members - something which I could engage or not as the need arose.

That’s also my understanding - overall via algorithm. I like your idea of ignore button.

There is a community for the HU development on the App which I used to be a member of but it became too unstable and difficult to use on the iPad so I dissed it and started using browser again.

I’ve looked under More but don’t have that in mine?

Oh, ok. What device & which platform are you using?

iPad iOS Thanks x

I use a browser (Safari) on iPad and under the original Post there are a Reply button, a Like Button, a Report button and then ‘more’ which if you click on gives a drop down menu with Edit, Delete or Sentiment Feedback. I don’t use the App so not sure if it is also on the App.

Thanks CD. My mistake and have found it. 1, I was looking on More, the one in the top right corner of page next to my avatar and 2, didn’t realise the other More was in the original post. Having just done that it is plainly there to see. 🙄xxx

Is there more than one more? I am looking under More in the top right-hand corner next to my avatar. That said, I wouldn't use it! I read all the posts, some rather more quickly than others...
