Migraine through bisoprolol
Yes I have. I have only been on bisoprolol about three weeks. I normally get a type of migraine about 2/3 times a year. But since I have been on Bisoprolol I have had two in a short space of time. I did not tie the two together.

Yes I’ve had so many more migraines with aura while being in bisoprolol than I normally get. But I’m also on a blood thinner so I’m not sure which one is to blame, if either. I just started keeping a record of them and will discuss with my cardiologist in a few weeks.
I do get tension stress migraines but have not found bisoprolol increases them.
Hi Fluffyball83,I experienced quite a few episodes of migraine aura following ablation which I associated with Apixaban anticoagulant, as when I stopped taking it the migraine aura ceased. It also coincided with the time required for the trans septal hole to heal which was made during the ablation procedure, so it's difficult to prove if it was caused during the ablation itself or as a result of medication . I was on Bisoprolol for some time prior to ablation but don't think it caused migraine at any stage. I was still getting migraine aura after stopping Bisoprolol.
Did you find any other triggers for the aura, I found bright lights overhead would trigger an episode, and very often without any headache.
I should add that I never experienced aura prior to ablation, and it started within hours of the procedure.
