Hello All,
I ended up in Urgent Care at the weekend with chest pains which I thought were down to Muscular strain but felt I should check it out. I had the usual checks but they also checked Troponin levels twice (an indicator for Heart attacks). These came out high at 28 on both occasions. They told me because they had not risen in the second test I could go home, I said I was on my push bike and was thus advised to ride home slowly! Point is, I had what I thought was a successful ablation for AF 3 years ago. Would this be responsible for my high Troponin levels after all this time or should I get some urgent advice from elsewhere? Anybody had any experience with High Troponin levels?
Dave
