It’s probably connected with an irritation due to having a TOE which is having a small camera passed down your throat. Generally lansoprazole is prescribed to ease the discomfort. Otherwise, there is only one option and that is to get tested asap.
I had an ongoing cough after my ablation, I would have the test but see your GP if your cough worsens as I had a CT scan for a different issue later and found I had a small pneumothorax which I assume was an after effect of the cough/ablation though I was too ill to ask 🤒
