Hi everyone I’m new here, 6 days post ablation, NSR but a nagging cough that seems to be getting worse, cant help but think of COVIID or PVT. any similar experiences?

It’s probably connected with an irritation due to having a TOE which is having a small camera passed down your throat. Generally lansoprazole is prescribed to ease the discomfort. Otherwise, there is only one option and that is to get tested asap.

I had an ongoing cough after my ablation, I would have the test but see your GP if your cough worsens as I had a CT scan for a different issue later and found I had a small pneumothorax which I assume was an after effect of the cough/ablation though I was too ill to ask 🤒

Hi. I had terrible cough and sore throat and phlegm for 2 months after cryoablation. It then slowly went away
